Christmas Party!!!

I hope that everyone will come out this Sunday (12/16) for the Youth Group Christmas Party!

I think it will be an awesome time of fun and fellowship as we celebrate the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

If you are a regular at Youth Group I want to challenge you to bring a friend or two (there will be a prize for whoever brings the most friends). These nights are awesome for getting friends more involved in the youth group and eventually that may lead them to having a relationship with Christ...but if you never take the first step and invite them, then they will never come.

Also, make sure you bring a buck for pizza OR a snack/2 liter of pop. Also, bring a wrapped gift of 5$ or less for the gift exchange....

"Maybe I should have taken the I-Pod...ohhh shoot" -Kevin from The Office-

Sorry for the randomness. Anywho...

Check out this weeks Clarence Bee. Theres a really cool article about the Roswell Park PaintBox Project and our churches involvement in it. Props to Danielle, Shannon, and Laura for all their work with that program. They even got their picture and name in the paper!

Let me challenge you guys. If you haven't spent some time with God in a while...go somewhere alone for a little while and dive into His word and pour your heart out to him in prayer. I promise it will be one of the most rewarding things you have done in a while. Besides, Jesus only left the glory and perfection of heaven to come to this earth as helpless infant in a poor family only to grow up to and devote his life to teaching and guiding us and eventually be tortured to death nailed to some wooden beams....I think at very least He deserves 20 minutes alone with you. God loves you more than you can imagine and spending time with Him discovering that love is extremely beneficial.

I love all you guys so much. Having great students like you makes my job an absolute joy.

Have a great week. Ill be prayin for ya.

Cornerstone Service Project

The service project at Cornerstone Manor Women and Children's Shelter was awesome!

The First hour we were there half the group cleaned the cafeteria and the other half cleaned the kitchen. In this picture Sami, Laura, and Danielle are taking a short break from diligently and ferociously cleaning the oven.

The rest of the time we helped to prepare and serve lunch. I got to the best job of them all: Taster.

Thank you to everyone who participated. I was very proud of of you guys. It is great to serve with people who aren't complaining and truly want to be there. I think it went very well and hopefully we can return there for future service projects.

We will be doing service projects like this every month. So if you want to get involved check out the website for future announcements or contact me and Ill let you know what we have planned.

With Much Love,

Halloween Party Recap!

I hope everyone had a great time at the Halloween Party on October 28th. The picture shown is of Ryan and Amanda playing "Bobbing for Candy in Pumpkin Guts". We did a lot of cool games that night but this was definitely my favorite. Mrs. Trabucco said this about the game: "He..." (meaning ryan) "...almost made me thow up...he just, like inhaled it...it was sooo gross". I agree...gross and awesome!

Thanks to everyone who helped make the night a success including my set up crew (Baile, Hillary, and Lindsey), all the Adult volunteers, and Mrs. Frosell for the awesome pumpkin cake!

I was really impressed with all of the awesome costumes especially: Sam I Am (sammy), Maid Marian (Lisa), and all the cool Harry Potter characters.

Our Next Outreach Night is coming up very soon. We are having a LATE Nighter at the church on Friday November 9th starting at 8pm going until Midnight!

We will have fun stuff to do all night including: Dodgeball and Kan Jam Tournaments, Guitar Hero Room and Dance Dance Revolution Room (Both with huge loud speakers), Nintendo room, a girls only Spa Room, and Movies and games going all night! These outreach nights are great for introducing people to the youth group so bring a ton of friends...literally...2 thousand pounds of friends each!!! :-) kidding

Thanks for being so awesome everyone!

Peace,
